Haener is one of three quarterbacks - along with Spencer Rattler and rookie Tyler Shough - competing to be the team's starter after Derek Carr retired May 10 due to a shoulder injury.
Haener played eight games last season, recording 226 ing yards, one touchdown, and one interception.
