LeBron James understands that not all NBA fans are pleased with how the league has changed over the years. 384n4n

The Los Angeles Lakers star delivered a message to frustrated fans on the latest episode of his "Mind the Game" podcast with Hall of Famer Steve Nash, letting them know he hears their complaints and empathizes with them.

"Fans, I want you guys to know that we're listening," James said. "We hear you guys. We're listening. We always want to make sure that the game of basketball is viewed from y'all point of view and y'all love the product.

"We're always trying to figure out a way to get better, but the game changes. The conversation on, you know, 'I wish the game was like this compared to this,' that's too far to even be thinking about those types of things. It's impossible, everything changes."

James recently wrapped up his 22nd year in the NBA and seventh season with the Lakers. The 40-year-old averaged 24.4 points, 8.2 assists, and 7.8 rebounds per game while helping L.A. finish third in the Western Conference at 50-32.
