Reds' Callihan breaks forearm on catch attempt vs. Braves 2n6w31
Cincinnati Reds outfielder Tyler Callihan was forced to leave Monday's game with a broken left forearm. 2z375b
Callihan slammed into the foul wall down the left field line while trying to corral a fly ball off the bat of first baseman Matt Olson in the third inning. Olson was able to round the bases for an inside-the-park home run, which was confirmed by replay after it was determined Callihan didn't control the ball on the catch.

Callihan was helped off the field by the training staff and with his left arm tucked inside of his jersey.
Reds manager Terry Francona said Tuesday that Callihan underwent surgery and won't participate in baseball activities for six-to-eight weeks, according to Charlie Goldsmith of Cincinnati Magazine.
The 24-year-old was playing just his fourth MLB game after he was called up April 30.
